BuzzFeed is a venture-funded startup building an innovative platform for publishing and tracking viral media. We are seeking a talented New York-based designer to join us full-time in our brand new 4000 sq ft SOHO office space. This is an great opportunity to make a huge impact as an integral part of our small team.

Your Job
- Design and build innovative web products experienced by over 7 million people a month
- Work on everything from mockups and prototypes to finished products
- Take ownership of your projects and see them to completion
- Collaborate with Product/Design Director and other team members
- Work with our development team to ensure polished implementations

Your Talents
- Creating intelligent, engaging, beautiful web experiences, interfaces and products
- Intuitive understanding of web user interface and information design
- Strong visual design and typography skills with a clean esthetic
- Fluency in modern web conventions, browser technologies and implementation techniques
- Using Photoshop and HTML/CSS to rapidly prototype new designs and features
- Effective communication and interface copywriting skills
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
