We are looking for a talented web developer with a broad range of skills in front end web development and usability experience. You will work closely with the Vice President of Information Technology on web strategies, plus managing and designing all customer-facing web properties, including www.culturalcare.com. In addition, you will manage a web developer who will implement new projects with you.
The successful candidate:
- Is proficient in hand-coding valid XHTML for structural markup, experience with JavaScript and JQuery, and uses CSS for layout and presentation.
- Has excellent communication skills, especially in composing web site technical specifications.
- Is passionate about user interface design and usability challenges.
- Has a true passion for excellence in his/her work, is highly organized, detailed-oriented, thorough, and follows through on commitments.
- Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
- Must be able to effectively work with other developers (onsite and offshore) and sales/marketing staff (onsite).
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years work experience working on web projects; can be combination of front-end development, project management and strategy
- Solid understanding of Web Standards
- Solid understanding of information architecture and user interface design
- Good understanding of SQL Database and database integration
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET, PHP, Python, and Rails a plus
