Eveo: Interactive Art Director

Eveo is a leading provider of rich media communication solutions focused on the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Equipment industries. Much of our work is a combination of video, motion graphics and 3D animation to result in very elegant, high-end programs that deliver on our client’s key messages to both physicians and patients.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Interactive Art Director with extensive interactive, animation and motion graphics experience and a well-rounded design background.

The Interactive Art Director’s role is to initially collaborate on strategic conceptual ideas. The ideal candidate should have developed solid problem solving abilities to a degree where each design project is not seen in isolation. But rather, they will also be able to look at the ‘bigger picture’ and incorporate best design and technology practices to provide cohesive support of overall creative strategies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years agency experience and formal design training with solid animation, motion graphics, graphic design and interaction design skills. An in-depth knowledge of appropriate usage of the latest versions of Flash (including ActionScript) PhotoShop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Indesign, Shockwave, Director, Dreamweaver (and other web authoring/motion graphic tools) , Fireworks, and Freehand is required. Understanding of HTML, DHTML, and JavaScript (rollovers, pop-ups) and the capabilities of web browsers and user interaction are essential.  Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

SKILLS:

· Strong concept development and graphic design ability

· Excellent understanding of composition, color, imagery, typography

· Strong working experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash and image optimization for web

·  Experience creating and working with site maps, online ad rich media storyboards, user flow, wireframes, and other information design documents for web sites and animation/motion graphics.

· Excellent understanding of user experience issues

·  Solid experience creating Web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates and layouts for use in animation/motion graphics and web site projects, ensuring site- wide color and typeface standards and consistency.

· Experience providing art direction to Flash and Web Developers

· Ability to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines

· Team oriented, self-motivated

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in graphic design or commensurate experience
