KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Web Developer’s key responsibilities will include:

We’re expanding, and we’re in need of a PHP/MySQL developer with a few years experience. This is a contract position, so almost all of your work will be done from home, or the coffee shop, or where-ever you prefer, though you will need to work at our location in Hillsborough the first couple of weeks.

Here’s what we’d prefer:

- A fair bit of procedure-based PHP/MySQL (OOP experience is not a big deal here) with some web applications under your belt.

- Ajax/jQuery/JavaScript skills are a big plus.

- Thorough practical knowledge of CSS/HTML, with the ability to convert Photoshop and Fireworks files to valid and happy HTML/CSS.

- Unquestionable ethics and integrity, with an innate desire to make every client say, “Wow”.

- Sense of humor, ’cause if we’re not having fun, why are we here?

- Flexibility to consistently put in about 15-20 hours per week. After the first couple of weeks, you set your own hours.

- A portfolio we can check over

- Great references

- Someone who works primarily Dreamweaver’s code view, but can readily jump back and forth between code and design views.

- Flash/SwishMax experience is a plus

- Experience with cPanel/phpMyAdmin is a plus
