.NET Programmer Needed (SOMA / south beach)

We are re-architecting our entire fleet of websites from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting project to construct a best-of-class web application framework using the latest .NET technology. The new framework will incorporate .NET C# 3.5, the MVC framework, SQL Server 2008, and Visual Studio Team Foundation. Our company, located in SOMA, is an innovator in the digital media space and works specifically within the electronics and semiconductor industry.

You will be one of the initial SCRUM team members and what you build will have immediate and substantial effect on the business. You will be able to truly influence the team and how we will develop software from both an infrastructure standpoint and for the social web. OpenID and numerous other social platform standards and technologies will also be researched to determine how they can help our business.

Qualifications:

• Technically fluent in programming languages, including C#, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript.

• Extensive Object Oriented Design experience.

• Extensive database and operating systems experience with MS Windows Vista, MS Server 2003/8, SQL Server 2000/5/8.

• Competent and proficient understanding of platforms such as .NET versions 1.1, 2.0, 3.5.

• Understanding of Team Foundation Server, Source Control, Continuous Build, and Agile environments.

• Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including MVC, AJAX, SOAP, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.

• Extremely process oriented.

• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

• Creative Problem solving skills is a must.
