Worldsquared, Inc with offices in New Jersey has an immediate opening, on a contract basis, for a mid-level application developer with a balanced set of skills to work on a 6 Month Contract Assignment. This position is likely to become permanent after the 6 month contract.
The developer will be working within a team of developers creating new modules, in ASP.NET, for a Fortune 100 global information access/storage solution. The Ideal candidate will have a good background in creating dynamic solutions using ASP.NET, XML, HTML, CSS and Relational Databases.
Required Skills:
ASP.NET, C#, XML, Javascript, AJAX, Web Services
Oracle scripting and stored procedures
Able to work within a small, dynamic programming team with various responsibilities
Excellent code troubleshooting and testing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidates should be self-starting, creative and comfortable in a highly-dynamic, constantly-changing, development environment. A key skill for this position is the ability to develop applications or modules without any requirements or specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
