PHP Developers Interns in a gaming company

About us:

FreshPlanet is a young social casual game company based in Manhattan.

We are building fun and smart online games (well… at least, we think they are…)

The company is venture-backed and led by a team of internet and game veterans.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a team of experts (i.e. you won’t be making coffee…)

About you:

You will be working on the technical development of the online games and applications we are building. You are an excellent technical developer, open to work with other and fast in developing your ideas.

You have a good knowledge of open source technologies (mainly PHP and MySql)

Good knowledge of the Internet and web 2.0 tools.

Smart and creative, you like to learn and work with guidance but will take initiative and not always await direction.

You are a perfectionist and you work until you are happy of your work.

You enjoy taking up motivating challenges; you are a self-starter, reliable and relentless, who can integrate into a dynamic team within a company in full expansion.

You are ready to do a full time internship with a real possibility of a job at the end (no kidding, if you are good and if the company can afford it, we will most likely offer you a job).

This is a not paid internship, but we give a small monthly indemnification of $500. (at least, this should pay for your commute…).

No dress code (but descent), you think you can challenge us on our wii and your “Farm” or you “Brain” on facebook are better than ours. You don’t care working with music in background.

So you think you are the best for this opportunity?

Only 1 position available.

Send your CV and letter of motivation to hellointerns {@} freshplanet . com citing reference: techintern in the subject of your email

This position is located in our offices in Manhattan and must be filled immediately. No phone calls please. (We regret that only short listed candidates will be notified.)
