Growing internet company in Hollywood, CA seeks Software Development Team Lead to manage a team of Developers and define technical direction of the department.
What you need:
- Proven team building / leadership experience in a web development environment
- 5+ years of experience with PHP 4/5 (OOD)
- Experience designing and building software for large scale distributed web applications
- Experience with search engine optimization (SEO)
- Strong experience with Object Oriented Design
- Experience with MySQL
- 3+ years of experience with CVS or SVN
- Linux, Mac O/SX, Apache/Light HTTP, Javascript technologies experience
- Experience in streaming video sites or in video editing/design
- Ability to create robust technical design documentation
- Must be comfortable working with sites that contain adult content
What you'll be doing – You will:
- Lead a team of 2 to 4 application developers
- Functional Breakdown, Design, Programming, testing and maintaining web site applications to support the business requirements including: ecommerce, online reporting and online affiliate systems requirements
- Develop and document workload estimates (creation of workload breakdown plan to define and track software development efforts)
- Conduct documentation and code reviews for team members to ensure standards compliance
- Define test methodology and use cases to analyze and verify software programs, forms, reports and interfaces
