The Position
We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our world-class product development team.
Your goal is to advance our mobile financial services suite of products through your existing expertise in mobile and/or financial services. In this role, you report to a Senior Product Manager and work as a member of a team that includes product engineering and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
Work with the product team to define functional and non-functional requirements.
Produce customer and other third party facing product documentation.
Inform product roadmaps by establishing phased product feature recommendations that support minimum valuable product as well as long term product strategies.
Describe and analyze business and technical processes. Create solutions to improve effectiveness, reduce process complexity, cost and cycle time.
Analyze security, compliance and authentication scenarios to provde best of breed ineractions.
Refine existing features based on qualitative and quantitative analysis including customer feedback, usability testing, usage patterns, marketplace data, and other available inputs.
Inform new features with market research, key insights, data, trends, case studies, and customer visits.
Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years experience in software product management role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated by a walkthrough of prior deliverables you have produced.
Solid analytical, critical and creative problem solving skills.
High level of personal organization, as well as the ability to promote efficient and effective organized teamwork.
A demonstrated understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle
Prior software product management experience utilizing Agile methods preferred.
Prior work experience in mobile computing and/or financial services industry is strongly preferred for this position.
Prior work experience in security, compliance and authentication (i.e. FDIC, FFIEC and strong authentication) is preferred for this position.
A solid conceptual understanding of common web based architecture and technology principles. (i.e. XML based messages, multi-tiered architectural concepts, system integration concepts) is required in order to have good context for common project activities and tasks.
