RelyLocal – Utah Valley/Orem, UT (Provo-Orem-Lindon)
We are looking for someone with previous sales and marketing experience who knows Utah Valley’s local business community pretty well and is passionate about promoting grass roots local community efforts. You will be selling a small advertising package to local businesses as part of a campaign to support local businesses through internet marketing, co-op advertising, social networking, coupon promotions, and an overall national campaign to support local business.
We are a locally owned and operated company, but this will be a work-from-home position for the right person with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. You will need to have your own computer, cell phone, and transportation. You will need to be an outgoing but laid back person with the ability to quickly let business owners get past the “salesperson” bias.
We are willing to pay 30-50% tiered-commission on all new sales, plus an ongoing 10%-25% residual tiered-commission for as long as the client remains active. This translates to approx $2,400 the first month, followed by approx $3,500/mo thereafter. The first 9-12 months will be very busy to get off the ground. After that, you can kick back and work a day here or there, in between playing Sleepy Ridge and walking the dogs, while still earning the ongoing residual commission.
The product is simple but potentially powerful for small businesses, almost selling itself. We could do this ourselves, but we know that we aren't the best salespeople. We'd rather find the right person (or couple) to team up with and help you out in this tough job market – splitting the profits 50/50.
