IGN is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support the Revenue Team through client collections, dispute resolutions, and accounts receivable management. You will be working with the multiple teams to improve operational efficiency via policy, process, and system improvement.
What does that mean exactly. . .
-You'll collect account balances within established payment terms to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt.
-You'll use collections metrics to monitor success and adjust collections strategies when appropriate.
-You'll document customer issues including promises to pay and payment issues.
-You'll research and resolve unapplied/unidentified payments.
-You'll achieve individual, department and company AR objectives (working capital, DSO, bad debt).
-You'll manage the monthly reconciliation of AR related accounts (trade receivables, unapplied/unidentified cash, bad debt).
-You'll identify and resolve all billing disputes and deductions in a timely manner.
-You'll process and apply daily cash receipts via lockbox, wires and credit card payments.
-You'll review new customer applications, perform credit checks and recommend credit limits.
-You'll maintain strong, effective working relationship with the sales organization and client base.
-You'll keep customer records in A/R system to ensure all contact information is current and accurate.
What will get you in the door. . .
-You have 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable with a concentration in collections.
-You're a great communicator with the ability to collaborate with multiple groups across the company.
-You're a Ninja when it comes to Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
-You have exceptional negotiation and collection skills.
-You have strong analysis skills and are able to diagnose and implement process improvements.
-You're able to keep your cool working in a high pace environment that requires you to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
-You're a team player!
It would be extra awesome if. . .
-You have online media, internet advertising, or high-tech experience.
-You're proficient in Oracle 11i (or similar ERP) and Salesforce.com experience.
