**** US CITIZEN OR PERM US RESIDENT **** **** This is an IMMEDIATE Interview and hire ** within 2 weeks **** Location: La Verne, CA. Term : Fulltime Perm (excellent base salary + benefits)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with business product management, business owners, customer service and technology team members to plan, design, develop, deploy, maintain and support various databases deployed in B2B, e-commerce/transactional applications
Participation in full development life cycle
Design data models and physical schemas for web-based database entities
Produce technical design documents for the schema and stored procedure specifications
Write stored procedures, ad hoc SQL queries, views, and triggers
Design and implement SSIS packages for data integration
Review SQL code generated by application developers
Design and implement indexing to optimize transactional and reporting performance
Troubleshoot production, real-time performance and concurrency issues
Create pre- and post- deployment SQL scripts for database rollouts
Work with internal clients, engineering teams, and other resources to analyze functional and technical requirements for database applications and supporting systems
Deliver software on time and to specification, with minimal supervision
Develop, implement and maintain third party shipping links and interfaces
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Computer Science or MIS (preferred)
MS Certified SQL Developer a plus
Experience in Oracle and MySQL (preferred)
8+ years hands-on experience programming database applications in MS SQL Server
with specific experience with high-volume e-Commerce websites
Must be an expert in T-SQL writing, analazing code, tunning and solving very complex high-volume e-Commerce websites
Understanding of relational database concepts
Understanding of SQL Server architecture and internals
Understanding of physical and logical database layouts
Experience designing and implementing SSIS packages
Experience writing sophisticated stored procedure and explicit transactions
Experience optimizing queries and troubleshooting performance/concurrency problems
Experience in index design and data partitioning techniques
Understanding of the .NET framework and experience in C# is strongly desired
Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Able to design, code, debug and maintain database schemas & store procedures
Able to develop technical specification and documentation
Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-tasking and managing multiple project/task assignments simultaneously
Must have VSS experience
Strong experience in a web application environment
Experience with data modeling tool (ER/Studio) a plus
VB, .net, .asp experience a plus
