Streetbook is an early stage startup based in Soho, London. We’re fully funded, we have an excellent team with a great track record, and we’re working hard building the first version of our site for launch in April. We’re looking for talented, driven and enthusiastic developers/designers who can step up to the challenge of helping create a scalable, secure, easy to use web community from the ground up.
We’re looking for
• raw talent and technical aptitude
• proven experience with open source web development frameworks (we’re building primarily with jQuery and Django), and user centred design approaches
• a passion for web standards and front-end best practices such as progressive enhancement
• primarily a front-end focus, but with the ability to get stuck in to any task that needs doing
• enthusiasm for learning new skills, technologies and techniques
• energy and determination to get things done, without compromising on quality.
For the right person this is a unique opportunity to have substantial input into the realisation of a site which we expect to grow to millions of active users, and hopefully to have some fun too!
We’re looking for people who can start in our Soho, London office ASAP.
