Beverage Steward/Barback
The Bahia Resort Hotel is looking for a Beverage Steward/Barback. We seek individuals with previous bar and restaurant experience that will welcome our guests to our food and beverage outlets with a warm and friendly smile. This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., as well as a general knowledge of beverage products. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Responsibilities will mostly be in the back of the house, though interaction with internal and external guests is common.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Checks in with bartender for instructions as to room where function is to be held (type of function, number of people, etc.).
· Assists bartender in the set-up of bar area.
· Ensures that sufficient equipment is on hand so that the area can be neatly maintained.
· Is knowledgeable of brands of liquor and spirits available in the bar.
· Checks stock daily.
· Orders beverage products.
· Conducts physical inventories.
· Completes close out at the end of each day as requested by manager.

We are currently hiring a bartender at the Ramada Plaza Hotel located in Mission Valley on Hotel Circle. The bartender maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the Food and Beverage Department as per guest occupancy.
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, addresses the guest by name whenever possible. Promotes and records orders for drinks and places check in front of guest after every drink is served. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. Utilize suggestive selling techniques for items such as premium liquor, appetizers, specialty drinks and various other food items. Always uses a shot glass or jigger to measure alcohol.
Inputs orders at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest. Maintains an accurate record of all beverage items served. Identifies signs of intoxication, and ceases serving alcoholic beverages at that time. Suggests food and non-alcoholic beverages. Immediately notifies supervisor, security, or Manager on duty if necessary to address the situation.

Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.

Our client develops software and hardware that is used by golf course, stadiums, and food courts to automate their food & beverage ordering process. Their product is designed so that the consumer will be able to remotely place food & beverage orders and have them delivered to their location or seat.
As a PHP web developer you will join a team of developers working on supporting this application as the live implementation ramp ups. The role will be support heavy but modifications and improvements to the software will also be part of your day to day duties. Our client is currently operating under a WAMP stack but will be migrating over the next few months to a LAMP stack.
