Wolter Group is looking for a junior interactive media / UI developer. We are a small software and interactive media development firm located in Manhattan. We design and develop diverse projects, including: Flash and HTML/CSS/Javascript Web projects; iPhone, Android and (soon) iPad apps; Mac OS X apps; and visualizations using OpenGL, Flash, Processing, etc.
The position slants toward development, but candidates should have good design sensibilities. Qualified candidates should be interested in interactive media, user interface design, data visualization, and working on the sort of projects listed above. Candidates should have experience with at least some of the following technologies and be interested in learning about and working with the others:
Flash / ActionScript 3
Cocoa / Cocoa Touch / Objective-C
OpenGL / Processing / 3D
Java / Android
HTML / CSS / Javascript
This is an open-ended 1099 contractor position to start with potential for full-time employment eventually. Compensation is negotiable.
