Project Descriptions:

Build and maintain ASP.Net Web Forms/C# web pages, Design and write C# code to interface with multiple web services and display content on web page, Enhance and update user and forum databases, communicate with content creators, UI designers, and other developers, work may include developing Silverlight/Flash based web applications

Required skills:

• 2+years engineering experience on large scale (> 1 million page views per day) web sites

• Experience with IIS 6.0 or related web server technologies

• 1+ year experience creating dynamic data-driven web applications using ASP.net 2.0 or higher

• Solid understand of ASP.Net WebForms, C#, and Transact-SQL

• Experience building and/or working with web services (WSF/Web Methods/SOAP/JSON/REST, etc

• Demonstrated ability writing T-SQL Stored procedures and working with RDBMS, preferred MS SQL 2005 or higher

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and all mainstream web browsers

• Bachelors Degree in CS or related field

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Telerik Web Form UI Controls

• Experience building web UI for mobile devices

• Familiarity with JQuery, Silverlight 2.0 or higher and/or Flash

The Web Producer position is a contract position to support public facing websites by providing content loading support which may include HTML, CSS, video, image, and flash.

In collaboration with the engineering team, work closely with the Marketing and Corp Communication teams to deliver HTML solutions and load them onto our production web content management system.

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent training with 1-3 years proven project experience developing software in a CMS environment.   
  • Proven experience with HTML, CSS, DHTML, Javascript, AJAX, Flash, and UI design.
  • 1 year or more experience with website development and maintenance in a Microsoft IIS web server environment.
  • 1 year or more experience working in a .NET, C#, ASP environment.
  • Familiar with commercial web design tools and development applications (i.e. Microsoft Expression, Visual Studio, Dream Weaver, Adobe Flash)
  • Candidate should be able to effectively learn and adhere to new engineering standards and learn new technologies, platforms, tools, and techniques.

Sr. Mobile Developer (iPhone, Android, WinMo)
Overview

Zenprise (www.zenprise.com) is looking for experienced and self-motivated mobile developers with an excellent knowledge of the mobile SDKs/platforms to join our rapidly expanding team.

Your responsibilities will include developing the Zenprise mobile apps targeting the iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile platforms. You will be working with our existing engineering team and product management to develop the next-generation MDM applications.

We are looking for a motivated self -starter who can work with minimal amounts of supervision and who also enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced and fun work environment.

Experience

-years of Objective – C, C++

-At least one to two years experience developing iPhone applications and knowledge of the iPhone SDK/platform. Someone who understands the platform and its innards. (not game development)

-Android and Windows Mobile development experience a huge advantage.
-Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, etc web services
-Proven ability to innovate and work jointly with other team members

Responsibilities
Assist with implementation of project architecture
• Research, identify and document technical requirements
• Determine and identify appropriate technologies to be used
• Develop and document the system architecture
• Create data flows and database schemas

Assist with implementation of project design, standards and processes
• Develop and document the high-level technical design
• Identify project tasks and define task definitions
• Assist in developing technical project schedules, plans, task assignments
and time estimates

Assist with development and maintenance of project code
• Take an active role in development of low-level design

Required Skills
Education and Technical Experience
• BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming and languages such as
PHP,RoR, C etc.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL
• Experience with a revision control system
• Experience with AJAX, CSS, Javascript an asset
• Experience designing and implementing interfaces using Prototype,
Scriptaculous, or other AJAX UI libraries an asset
• Experience with Flash programming and manipulating multimedia files
(photos, videos, etc.) an asset
• Ability to reliably plan, describe and implement a solution to software problems
• Flexibility in the adoption of standard tools
