Dedicated Media (DedicatedMedia.com) is looking for Project Manager IT, to join our rapidly growing company at our Los Angeles (El Segundo) location!
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project managing of online web development and IT projects, with a proven professionalism when communicating with tech and web programmers. This role requires a highly organized, self motivated individual, collaboration with cross-functional teams, attention to detail, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our websites include, CarDevotion.com, PharmDaily.com, Just4Classes.com, PetSpace.com to name a few.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with business & technical stakeholders as well as customers to develop product features
Understand and leverage existing technology frameworks, as well as project sculpting
Work with the development team and others to develop, QA & launch product
Understanding of project processes, including scheduling, documentation, risk analysis, and contingency planning
Understanding of development process, including development, testing, and deployment as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities
Understanding and experience in user interface best practices
Understanding of back-end web technology, including PHP / Java / .Net, SQL, MySql databases, and server hardware
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
Highly analytical, logical, and good problem solver
Able to plan work, organize time, and maintain workflow
Able to interact professionally with all levels of staff
Familiarity with SEO concepts and best practices
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with Internet or software product development and/or project management
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Excellent organization skills
o Working knowledge of all stages of Internet product development including requirements, web development, QA, etc.,
o Strong quantitative and analytical skills
o Ability to think and execute strategically as well as tactically
o High level of professionalism
o An energetic approach to work
o Bachelor’s degree
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL Databases, MySQL, ASP, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visual Basic, some Java Script, Visio a Plus
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with little direction if needed Experience dealing with multiple time-sensitive projects at any given time. Familiarity with content management systems (prior CMS experience a plus)
