Qualifications

FILTER is looking for a UX Project Manager with proficiency in Expression Blend for a contract role in Redmond. This position is with a small team that works on internal-facing administrative tools for gaming groups.

The UX Project Manager is responsible for creating visual design mockups and functional specifications for a variety of tools that facilitate interview tracking, task management, team status reporting and budgeting. They are used by hundreds of people and are essential to the teams that use them. This position will coordinate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements, maintain the project schedule, and helps to manage issues and risks. In addition, the UX Project Manager will need to attend team meetings, coordinate notes and administer the team SharePoint site.

Because this position is a hybrid UX design and project management role, our ideal candidate has a professional background in both areas. Web Designer (Pasadena, CA)

We are seeking a Web Designer to execute and implement strategic direction in collaboration with marketing and the product teams in each of eHarmony’s lines of business. The Web Designer will be expected to implement groundbreaking creative ideas that deliver on key performance metrics.  This is a full-time staff position and will be working on-site from our Pasadena HQ.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of various aspects of our online presence, such as Flash banners, promotional landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters and other online components for our services, as well as occasional print pieces
  • Captures advanced technical knowledge and skills, such as interactive design, user experience, marketing techniques and consumer demand, and applies them to eHarmony’s business objectives

Web Designer (Pasadena, CA)

We are seeking a Web Designer to execute and implement strategic direction in collaboration with marketing and the product teams in each of eHarmony’s lines of business. The Web Designer will be expected to implement groundbreaking creative ideas that deliver on key performance metrics.  This is a full-time staff position and will be working on-site from our Pasadena HQ.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of various aspects of our online presence, such as Flash banners, promotional landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters and other online components for our services, as well as occasional print pieces
  • Captures advanced technical knowledge and skills, such as interactive design, user experience, marketing techniques and consumer demand, and applies them to eHarmony’s business objectives
  • Helps foster an open and productive atmosphere within the Creative Team
  • Uses drive and vision to determine emerging graphics technology and pushes to adopt these technologies in eHarmony’s environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in graphic design or experience in a related field is a must
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in online design at an agency, studio or contractual work
  • Knowledge of visual design, information design, and interaction design
  • Project management skills are critical including adaptability, time management and meeting objectives
  • Strong creative problem solving abilities
  • Must be flexible and resilient with the ability to give and take direction from multiple teams within the organization
  • Ability to interact with Senior Management, Marketing, Product Management and other internal teams
  • Required software and technical knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML
  • Knowledge of Flash and CSS is a plus
