Largest publisher of visitor maps in the Bay Area seeks dependable, energetic person for delivery position for 4 days per week Summer / 5 days per week in Winter.

Summer Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday – 10 hour shift.

Winter Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday – 8 hour shifts ( Winter schedule can be structured to driver availability)

Skills & Requirements:

Driving record must be acceptable to Mapwest and to insurance carrier Employee must maintain clean driving record while employed.

Professional appearance and communication skills.

Ability to consistently lift between 50 – 80lbs

FLEX PROGRAM VISTA: The Center is building its leadership program and developing an integrated Platforms of Service, providing varied volunteer engagement opportunities for the broader Marin community. As a result of our community outreach program this past year, we’ve identified a gap in flexible volunteer-centered service opportunities in the community. Since few organizations have the resources to effectively engage and support these underserved volunteers in service, we believe that if we develop and implement a program to assist our nonprofit community in meeting this deficit, we will be able to help engage more volunteers in making measurable differences within impoverished communities. Working together as a part of a four member team, this VISTA will expand the Center’s reach and capacity to deliver programs—and increase service delivery community wide.

The VISTA member who will support the Flexible Volunteer program. We envision the Flex Program VISTA to be a program development and performance improvement position. This position will coordinate the development of partnerships with community organizations that can develop recurring Flex projects, the marketing of Flex opportunities to prospective volunteers, as well as the identification and training of new Flex Volunteer Leaders who can manage site projects independently. This work began last year and we believe we can scale it up and develop a sustainable

infrastructure within the next two years. Supporting the Flex program, this VISTA will be responsible for the following activities:

• Meet with and provide strategic support to organizations in developing Flex based projects

• Develop and implement an outreach plan for prospective Flex volunteers and Flex volunteer leaders

• Refine criteria and training for Flex Volunteer Leaders

• Represent the Center at community coalitions for National and Local Days of Service including MLK Jr Day, Earth Day, Week of Caring, and many more.

• Recruits, trains, and supports the mobilization of underserved volunteers and the management of volunteer projects that meet specific community needs of low-income communities and schools.

• Serve as the Center’s liaison to the community identifying as needed additional capacity and resources for effectively engaging and supporting volunteers in service;

• Develop and follow-up with a target list of organizations as potential volunteer engagement collaborating partners;

• Represent the Center in the community by attending community meetings to develop an understanding of the needs of individual volunteers and build relations with local organization staff;

• Partner with HandsOn affiliates with successfulm programs to learn best practices and develop newopportunities for service;

• Facilitate the engagement of volunteers by establishing processes which address volunteers needs;

• Partner with new nonprofits to develop new ways to engage volunteers to better accomplish their program goals;

• Market the programs to nonprofits, public agencies and the community at large to encourage partnership and participation;

• Work with organizations to develop opportunities for key demographics (i.e. boomers, skilled volunteers, people with disabilities, business volunteers, families etc.);

• Maintain Marin County’s volunteering data

• Develop Best Practices for volunteer project management to add to our website;

• Assist in the identification, recruitment and cultivation of possible volunteer leaders;

• Continue the development of a Project Leader Curriculum, Training Manual and Handbook;

• Build relationships within targeted low-income communities towards engaging residents as volunteer project leaders within their community;

• Work with targeted communities to identify potential to offer volunteer project leader training sessions within the communities where volunteer project leaders will work.

COMMUNITY BUILDING VISTA: We envision the Community Building VISTA to be a community liaison working directly with prospective volunteers as well as the organizations seeking volunteer support. This position will oversee the technology we use to encourage and support civic engagement throughout the county including our front-facing web presence, online newsletters/blog, and social networking communities. We anticipate this position requiring 2 years to develop and systematize the following programs: Creation of a peer learning cohort focused on Rethinking Volunteerism; Development and Documentation of easy to use systems for posting, searching, and responding to volunteer/civic engagement opportunities; and Expansion of our BoardMatch/Governance Training Programs to increase the representation of people of color and persons under 35.

The Community Building VISTA member who will support the Volunteer Engagement program will be responsible for the following activities:

• Attendance at and participation in community meetings—specifically those in targeted communities in need of economic development including Marin City, West Marin, the Canal, and portions of Novato.

• Providing consultation to organizations on how they can best support volunteer engagement at every level of the organization.

• Creation and maintenance of database systems and web protocols.

• Design and coordination of new social networks. Developing content and encouraging participation.

• Coordinating learning events for nonprofit staff and volunteers—designed to improve the satisfaction and impact of volunteer engagements.

• Oversee technology, recommend enhancements, assist and train users,

Marin’s Professional Services team is responsible for onboarding new customers onto the Marin platform quickly and accurately. The work requires commercial and technical skills in a highly visible phase of Marin’s relationship with new customers. Every member of the Professional Services team contributes knowledge and best-practices back to the rest of the organization, helping Marin reinforce its reputation for industry leadership and quality.

The Professional Services Integration Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the successful onboarding of a customer onto Marin’s market leading Search Marketing (SAAS) platform. This position is focused on developing creative solutions to the customer’s data integration problems to ensure they work consistently and reliably. Responsibilities

• Working alone or with team members, refine customer requirements to create in a short amount of time a detailed specification prior to the start of development.

• Develop scripts or code to implement custom integration work (often data conversions/transformations) for specific customers.

• Perform Unit Testing and participate as needed in overall solution testing.

• Build and maintain technical Infrastructure for integration.

Qualifications

AmeriCorps VISTA Real Estate Liaison (SOMA / south beach)

This is an AmeriCorps VISTA position with Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco for one year. The primary goal for the Real Estate Liaison is to create an online project-based resource (e.g. and “Wiki” referred to as ‘The Habitat Collaborative’) for real estate development project related documents and print marketing materials such as brochures, powerpoint presentations, and other media documents. Beyond the creation of this Wiki, the VISTA will participate in public meetings, grant applications, and planning.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

-Increase the visibility of Habitat developments by creating an on-line portal for all Habitat partners to find necessary documents including examples of past developments, architectural renderings, budgets, community meeting PowerPoints, etc

-Create impactful marketing materials, taking responsibility for both the content development and overall design, including layout and graphics

-Test and perfect presentation materials for various outreach efforts including community meetings, public/private partnerships, and Below Market Rate joint ventures

-Creating the methodology for streamlining all written and verbal communication with developer partners, elected officials, planning departments and more, from both staff and volunteers

-Support the execution of community meetings related to Habitat Greater San Francisco’s Whitney Young Circle II, Brisbane, and Belle Haven Place developments

-Research and write grant application to increase funding and sustainable partnerships with state and federal agency partners and municipalities (examples include: CDBG, CalHOME, FHLB-AHP applications). If successful, the VISTA will have created template documents that can be modified and adjusted for future applications.

ACCOUNTABILITY: The Landscape Operations Manager I works under the direction of an Operations Manager II and/or the Landscape General Manager, to manage landscape maintenance operations on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum five years of commercial landscape operations management experience; an academic degree in business administration, operations management or horticulture is highly desirable. Minimum of three years of comprehensive supervisory experience required;

Background managing commercial landscape maintenance tasks including but not limited to irrigation, planting, turf maintenance, mowing, equipment operation and maintenance, pesticide use, and safety; and managing multiple work crews.
