Constantly review and monitor social media, press releases, and other user feedback to enhance product offering. Create and administer usability sessions, manage user forums, and write engaging content for blogs—to encourage user feedback.

4. Develop the Product: Develop and tweak products and features that capture the needs of Weatherista’s users. Create new products from scratch and execute. Wireframes, PRDs, QA, would be the senior product manager’s responsibility.

5. Revenue: Be able to develop products and features that drive revenue for the company based on current company monetization plans. Invent and communicate new ways of monetization for the company to the CEO. Report to CEO the product offering, delivery schedule, and forecasted ROI of all products and features implemented prior to execution.

Your Talents:

1. Experience: 2-5+ years of product management experience at an Internet company. 2+ years of PHP software engineering experience. At least 1+ years of experience of managing offshore engineering teams. You must be able to show a proven track record of success at a previous Internet company.

Preferred Experience: Having worked at a consumer Internet company is a huge plus. MBA from top tiered school is a plus. Getting your hands dirty and getting things done on time is highly encouraged.

Our Sunnyvale and Milpitas facilities are open 365 days a year and our Palo Alto Facility is open Monday-Friday. We are looking for 2 full time and 1 part time Playgroup Leaders to work in our Sunnyvale facility. Hours and days may vary, but evening and weekend availability are required. Holiday availability is a huge plus! Typical responsibilities include managing and interacting with the dog playgroups, feeding meals, washing dishes, general cleaning and maintenance. Attentiveness to the pups is an absolute must! Qualifications

The Primary duties of the Lobby Host are checking in our daycare dogs, assisting customers with questions and requests, updating client files, as well as light housekeeping to keep our Lobby and Owner’s Lounge looking clean and inviting! Candidates must have a solid foundation with MS Word and Excel, be proficient with email, and able to pick up our client tracking and database software quickly. Secondary duties of this position will be as a Playgroup Leader on our daycare floor, interacting with and ensuring the safety of our pups! You must be able to work as a team player in a fast paced and loud atmosphere that can be physically demanding. Playgroup Leaders are responsible for supervising and regulating all dog-dog play and helping to open and close the facility.

We are currently looking for two part time Lobby Hosts for our Milpitas facility: Sun-Tue, 6:45 – 3:45 and Wed-Fri, 6:45-3:45. More hours may be available in the future, and Playgroup Leading shifts will most likely be available, as well. Experience with animals is not required, but is a big plus! Individuals must be able to function in a very fast paced, physical environment and lift up to 40-50 lbs. We see all sizes of dogs on a daily basis, so be prepared to be handling anything from a 5-pound Yorkshire Terrier to a 150-pound Great Dane!

Our statisticians work primarily with R and SAS. The Data Warehouse Tools Engineer will work on tools to automate processes and will provide tools for research managers, statistical analysts, and clerical staff to improve efficiency. Familiarity with R is desirable. The Data Warehouse Tools Engineer will translate project requirements into tools that improve efficiency and accuracy of existing processes. We are also developing web-based versions of our data collection and analysis tools, using Microsoft technologies such as ASP.Net, VB.Net 2.0, and SQL Server. Experience with Web GUI’s and programming will also be helpful.

Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Data Warehouse Engineer will join a team working on a range of tasks and will be expected to contribute to the following:

· Reviewing and checking data returned from the schools and other sources.

· Preparing simple reports and views of data.
· Installing data into the SQL databases used by analysis.

· Warehousing and performing analysis of survey results including operating SAS macros and setting up formulaic parts of the analysis.

· Developing new Word, Excel and Access macros to incorporate parts of our overall process.

The following skills and experience are important for this position:

· A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

· SQL

· Knowledge and experience with Excel, Access, Word and especially VBA.

· ETL issues such as cleaning, consistency checking, and descriptive statistics.
· Some background in statistics. Use of a commonly used statistics program such as R, SAS, or SPSS, would be very helpful but is not required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to display data in compelling and actionable ways.
· Ability to work with research managers, statisticians, and clients and to explain technical issues.

· Care and precision.

About the Job:

Join our small, agile backend team, configuring different systems, conducting backups and ensuring that all systems are properly administered.
Be proactive and responsive to any IT issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day management of 40+ Linux servers and on-call support.
Configure software load balancers.
Work with monitoring tools (Munin, Nagios) to provide insight to production systems.
Maintain server software with latest upgrades and fixes.
Handle all server software security matters, including auditing existing procedures and developing new policies.
Troubleshoot application and environment issues and ensure that system availability, performance and other services level agreements are met.
Manage user accounts across all environments.
Future responsibilities may include capacity planning for servers.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience working as a Systems Administrator in a Linux environment.
Maintained a minimum of 40 servers, with a strong knowledge of how to scale to hundreds of servers.
Experience configuring load balancers, handling backups, working with networking protocols and firewalls.
Experience with taking raw MySQL data snapshots for backup and syncing raw data files to introduce new MySQL slaves and masters. Knowledgeable with tuning memory buffers and troubleshooting overall mysql performance.
Familiarity with establishing disaster mitigation and recovery procedures for mysql and basically any layer of a web application
Experience dealing with RAID and the associated challenges
Self-starter, with a positive attitude and willingness to work with a flexible schedule and play multiple roles in a start-up environment.
