Motally is looking for a bright, talented and motivated back-end Java engineer. An engineer with a passion for scaling, and handling large amounts of data. This is a high-growth position providing the opportunity to make a significant impact and provide critical input into the architecture of key components as well as the opportunity to move into technical leadership roles as we grow.

We are looking for a highly motivated, senior engineer with significant hands-on development experience.

* 5+ years Java/J2EE experience using the Eclipse IDE

* Experience with Servlets, Tomcat/Jetty and JDO

* Strong code testing abilities with JUnit and Hudson

* Comfortable with writing Ant build scripts

* Comfortable with Linux and writing shell scripts

* Experience with Hadoop, Hive and/or HBase highly desirable

* Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed. This may mean on occasion helping with other functions (e.g. QA, Operations)

* Working knowledge of current software security technologies (encryption, authentication, etc.), and their incorporation into software systems

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment.

* Demonstrated ability to deliver results, prioritize activities, and to manage time effectively.

About the job

As the only full-time Accounting employee at the Company, the Accounting Manager will perform substantially all accounting functions. Candidate must have an Accounting degree, excellent computer and communication skills, be flexible and have a minimum of three years of substantive relevant work experience.

Accounts payable: Obtain invoice approval, determine account and department coding and enter invoices into Quickbooks. Run checks, obtain check signature, file paid A/P packets. Process international wire transfers. Accrue and pay use tax when required. Ensure all contractors have W-9s on file, monitor payments to contractors, issue yearly 1099s. Review and enter monthly employee expense reports.

Payroll: Process bi-monthly payroll including 401(k) and other employee deductions, review and pay benefit invoices, coordinate with HR in new hire and termination processing. Post payroll and PTO journal entries. Track 401(k) and benefit amounts by employee.

Accounts receivable: Record revenue from internal company reports. Record wire transfer cash receipts against appropriate customer and invoice. Resolve payment and overdue receivable issues with other employees and directly with customers through their websites and by phone.

Credit cards: Manage credit card charges, payments and record transactions in Quickbooks.

Fixed assets: Code assets to proper fixed asset accounts, compute and record monthly depreciation, complete annual personal property tax return.

Cash: Reconcile cash accounts. Manage and record all cash transfer transactions. Update cash forecast reports as needed.

Monthly Close: Record monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts in preparation for the monthly close. Prepare financial statements and other reports as directed by the Controller, CFO and CEO.

Other: Other project and duties as required.

Pay Range: $70,000 – $80,000

Credit cards: Manage credit card charges, payments and record transactions in Quickbooks.

Fixed assets: Code assets to proper fixed asset accounts, compute and record monthly depreciation, complete annual personal property tax return.

Cash: Reconcile cash accounts. Manage and record all cash transfer transactions. Update cash forecast reports as needed.

Other: Other project and duties as required.

Lolapps is looking for a hands-on Flash/AS3 lead to architect and implement social games on Facebook. Aside from being an expert on Flash/AS3, candidate must have strong CS background and be capable of leading / managing at least 2 software engineers. You should be excited about making a large impact and influencing the Flash direction of social games on Facebook.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement Flash based social games on Facebook

Work with Product Management to break down high level goals into task and timelines

Build, lead, and mentor a small AS3 team

Drive development in a fast pace, nimble, agile environment

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a software engineer, 1+ year working on Flash games
