The position will involve working within our Network Operations facility in Sacramento supporting customer systems on-site, and via remote access.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Resolve customer server and storage problems as assigned.

o Interact directly with customer’s technical staff to resolve issues or implement changes.

o Documentation of KnowledgeBase articles and environmental Visio diagrams will also be required.

o Serve as escalation point for other FusionStorm Technical Staff on point products.
o Participate in an on-call rotation.

o Participate in some night and weekend shift support with peers for after-hours support.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Experience with building web-based applications for mobile phones is also a plus. The web applications the employee would be developing are consumer facing PC and mobile-based web sites, and iPhone/Android/Blackberry applications for a global marketing agency that services Fortune 100 technology, automotive, and biotech companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in all phases of the project lifecycle – architecture, design, development, alpha, beta, release, and production support.

• Researches, designs, develop and troubleshoot complex web based application systems for mobile browsers and PC-based browsers. Oversees implementation of specific enhancements and design of the web based application systems.

• Performs ongoing quality assurance studies to evaluate system performance, compliance with specifications and requirements, and the quality of code produced by other engineers.

• Contributes to development of project schedules, provides work/time estimates, and is committed to meeting deadlines.

• Drafts documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.

• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related field and at least

• 4 years of concentrated developmental experience with multi-tiered web based systems and high level Java programming skills.

• More than 3 years experience in developing large, multi-tiered, mission critical, scalable, application server based enterprise systems that function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Web Flow

• Experience with Javascript and AJAX

• Ability to parse designer’s graphics files into HTML and JSP

• Experience in developing sophisticated Graphical User Interfaces for both web-based applications, mobile devices, and WAP phones, with knowledge of JSP and JavaScript.

• Strong experience in full life cycle software development.

• Strong experience in the Linux/UNIX operating system.

• Able to work and complete tasks in a flexible, highly independent environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in building web-based applications for mobile phones.

• Experience building iPhone, Android, or Blackberry applications.

• Experience with mobile standards.

• Basic graphic manipulation skills.

• Prior consulting experience with direct communication to customer management.
