POSITION:
Sophic Associate Scientific Software Engineer (SSE). Use the flexible/agile Biomax
development platform to configure scientific/biomedical solutions based on customer
requirements. This position entails:

• Data modeling to support knowledge management
• Integrating heterogeneous databases
• Writing programs to query external data sources
• Linguistics analysis and text mining
• Providing end‐user and technical training for large scale configuration and implementation

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced project management / project controls professional supporting various programs and projects in the Nuclear Weapons business area at Sandia/CA. • Strong organization and project management skills (formal or otherwise)

Nice to Have:

• Tech support/customer care experience this position will interact directly with customers semi-regularly an amount of politesse and tact that often comes with experience is very helpful in this area.

If you have experience hosting your own web site, building a social network, writing a blog, or managing a wiki, that’s also a big plus.

This position reports to the Sr. Product Manager of Web Publishing.
