Top Notch UI Developer/Web Designer Required (Northwest Chicago/Chicago)

We are currently searching for a UI Designer/Developer-Web Application Developer

to work on prototyping our unique idea that will transform

the online learning space. This role is for someone having

the latest technical knowledge for building interactive

social networking platforms (Web 2.0). This person should be

very familiar with building international public online

services such as ecommerce, social networking, blogs, wikis,

bookmarking and mashups. This person will be expected to

work with the Team Leader and the Business stakeholders to

design the next generation of localization collaboration

tools.

Responsibilities:

Work with Team Leader and Business stakeholders to

define overall user experience / usability approach /

design

Responsible for overall portal UI design

Create and maintain usability and style guides

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Website development/design,

particularly ecommerce and/or social networking

applications

Strong CSS, (X)HTML, Ajax, Javascript, Flash, Photoshop,

Illustrator, PHP, JSON, Flex, RSS, HTML and DHTML.

Strong experience in building Web 2.0 frameworks

Demonstrated experience creating logical front end web

designs for a seamless user experience

Demonstrated experience pulling together business

requirements / use cases from non-technical staff.

Possess a strong understanding of web user experience,

design principles, typography.
