Seeking a Web Content Developer with solid skills using web content publishing tools is needed to join team that manages all content for 250+ websites associated with large financial services company. Web Developer will work with team of developers who post up to the minute content on company websites.
This web developer may spend time in production making routine website updates and spend other time working on special projects requiring more advanced web development and some web design. This individual will be expected to assist in the redesign as well as help identify other areas of improvement across the company’s websites. This role will require proactive problem solving skills, the ability to lead/guide web development efforts and suggest rules/standards for development. This is a close knit, team environment. A true team player is needed.
Strong candidate will have the following skills:
Minimum 3 years of work experience in web development
Must have strong work experience using standard HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience with Dreamweaver and Photoshop
Must have CGI/Perl or similar scripting language experience and/or XML, or JSP (Experience with JSP strongly preferred)
Content management system experience, preferably TeamSite (Interwoven)
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to apply various technologies to solve problems on websites and/or improve the production of web pages
Nice to have skills but not required:
Web analytics, preferably Omniture/HBX
Experience with AJAX/JQuery
